Key Responsibilities:

1. Setting out using dumpy level, pipe level, or laser level.

2. Set brick gauge rod, string lines, cavity batons according to SANS 10400-K guideline.

3. Create a two-week look ahead program, daily allocations and output tracking.

4. Transfer levels from benchmarks to adjacent walls and between floors.

5. Use straight edge, spirit level, and square to measure level, square, and plumbness of all brickwork, plaster, and screed.

6. Do progressive quality checks on work-in-progress, using approved checklist and ensure progress report on sub-contractor draws is in accordance to approved tick sheet.

7. Order and facilitate call off of required construction materials in-line with the program.

8. Continuously enforce a clean work area prior to any activity and ensure PPE is present at all times. Ensure safety measures are implemented at all times.

9. Ensure that latest issued drawings are at hand in hard copy and/or soft copy.

10. Escalating issues when unsure to senior management and when necessary. Report any defects or identified risks on site.

• 15 years proven experience as a Wet Trade Foreman.

• NQF 4/5 Construction related advantageous.

• Red Seal Certificate advantageous.

• MBA advantageous.

• Must reside in the Western Cape.

• Solid experience in residential construction.

• Experience in wet trades and finishing.

• Strong leadership and site supervision skills.

• Ability to manage teams, timelines, and quality standards.

• Good understanding of construction drawings and site safety.
